Dr Audris Wong is also a Staff Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Gold Coast University Hospital, Robina Hospital and Varsity Lakes Day Hospital, providing specialist consult in Gold Coast. She has recently been elevated as a Fellow in the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologist, UK and will be admitted as a Fellow in the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland. Having practiced in large centres around the world, she understands the basic principle of first do no harm. She will inform you of all the possible options after a detailed history taking and examination. This is often not surgical, with surgery only at the last resort.
Her practice aims to reduce over diagnosis and over-treatment of patients further improving sustainability in healthcare. Overdiagnosis may trigger a cascade of overtreatment.
She is driven by her enthusiasm, to help diagnose, treat and provision of the best care and satisfaction of patients.
Dr Wong completed her specialist training programme in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Ireland and completed the Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopic Hysteroscopic Surgery and Urogynaecology at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney before serving the hospitals in the Gold Coast.

As pregnancy is a very special time and having experienced the whole pregnancy process herself, Dr Audris Wong is able to provide shared specialist obstetrics advice and care tailored to your needs and will arrange follow up after the delivery of your baby. She manages early pregnancy care (beginning from a positive pregnancy test) having previously managed Early Pregnancy Assessment Units (EPAU) in busy tertiary maternity units, consistently reviews the safety and outcomes of both the mothers and babies.
She offers specialist management in benign gynaecological disorders such as menstrual disorders, postmenopausal symptoms, infertility, endometriosis, fibroids, prolapse and contraception choices including insertion of Mirena or implanon.
