Dr Audris Wong founded Well Woman Centre as a personalised boutique practice in the Robina, Gold Coast focusing on giving women a comprehensive and wholesome evidence based care. Her mission statement  is  ‘ making women custodians of their own health’. 

A custodian is a person who have the responsiblity of taking care or protecting something, it is not just what the clnician says or what you are told. She believes that you are incharge of your own health. It is important to have the education, knowledge and empowerment to make the right decisions for your health. As clinicians, we have the duty to inform patients about all the options available. Surgical options may not always be the first line treatment. She believes in a wholesome stepwise approach in managing all symptoms, especially women’s health related concerns. She also promotes reducing unnecessary treatments and over diagnosis in health whilst providing the best possible care and satisfactions for her patients. 

Dr Wong commenced her career in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2004 and have over 20 years of clinical experience in the speciality having trained in large teaching centres in Ireland and Australia. She completed her specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Ireland and pursued advanced fellowship training in Laparoscopic Hysteroscopic surgery and Urogynaecology at St Vincent’s hospital, Sydney ( Dr V Lamaro and Prof  Bernie Haylen) , before joining the Gold Coast Hospitals. She prioritises patients well-being and a shared decision making with you and your family.  

She specialises in all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynaecology with special interest in Colposcopy, Laparoscopic Surgery and Urogynaecology . This include management of menstrual disorders, peri/postmenopausal discussion, contraceptive choices , pelvic pain , fibroids , endometriosis , infertility, ovarian pathology, abnormal cervical screening tests, vulval concerns, prolapse and bladder symptoms.
